NDT (Play therapy)

Neuro-Developmental Treatment is a hands-on therapy that involves task‐specific postures and movements. It centres on and emphasises development, mobility, functional activities and participation in relevant daily life situations. It takes into account the whole person, including the emotional, social, and practical issues that the person needs to deal with on a daily basis. NDT involves guided functional activities to establish correct and symmetrical patterns of movements, thus encouraging proper posture in daily activities.

Multisensory Integration

Different sensory stimuli (Vision, hearing, taste, smell, touch) are used from one’s own body and from the environment which makes it possible to use the body effectively within the environment for day-to-day activities. Difficulty with processing these sensory inputs lead to poor performance of daily activities and hence Multisensory Integration therapy encourages children to learn to process the sensory information; use all their senses together and break repetitive behaviours. It includes exposing the child to various sensory stimuli simultaneously and helping them understand how to combine them and respond to these stimuli with physical activity to complete the task. Multisensory stimuli help improve the child’s attention, concentration and alertness of self and environment.

Early Intervention

Early Intervention Services are special services for high-risk infants and toddlers at risk for developmental delays. These services are designed to identify and meet children's needs in various developmental areas. It frequently focuses on the essential components of child development which include physical, cognitive, behavioural, social and emotional development as it has a potential to make a difference and provide benefits throughout life.

Early Intervention programs are tailor made for each child depending on the child’s abilities and needs along with the family’s priorities; the most important and only common step in all programs is to Start Early. It's a multi-disciplinary approach where the family also plays an important role as the secondary therapist.

Arts Based Therapy (ABT)

The fundamental View of ABT is that, “healing is about guiding and returning all human beings to realising their original awakened nature.”

ABT approach involves multiple art forms to enhance a child’s creative and cognitive expression and helps to improve their physical and emotional wellbeing. It helps a child express thought, emotions and communicate through art. Various art forms used most commonly include draw, sketch, paint, music, write stories and poems and much more. It can also be combined with a physical activity and help learn new/improve motor skills.

Total motion release (TMR) Tots

Asymmetry or ill-aligned posture restricts muscles’ total functional capacity. Total motion release (TMR) TOTS is a modified positional release concept which identifies limitations in movement, assesses and treats postural asymmetry to improve range of motion and control, and therefore improves functional outcomes.
