Is a senior physiotherapist with 20+ years of experience and expertise in paediatrics with special interest and training in childhood muscle, bone and joint conditions. She was awarded the prestigious Dr. P.N. Berry Scholarship from Indian High Commission, London in 2004. She trained from Great Ormond Street Hospital, London for one year duration in the year 2004-5 and is one of the pioneers in specialised musculoskeletal physiotherapy in India. She began her career at Children’s Orthopaedic Hospital, India and then worked as a physiotherapist, research physiotherapist and specialist physiotherapist at Jaslok Hospital for over 15 years.

Currently she is the Physiotherapy In-charge at SRCC Children's Hospital managed by Narayana Health, Haji Ali, Mumbai. Her work at the hospital entails neurological (delayed milestones, cerebral palsy etc) cardio-respiratory conditions like post-operative cardiac care, genetic anomalies, lung conditions like cystic fibrosis, muscle, bone, joint and other chronic conditions in children.

Her clinical practice expands to her private clinic ‘Kids Physio Clinic’ inn central Mumbai at Lalbaug, where she mainly treats children with various disorders and conditions. She is also a visiting consultant at Happy Home and School for the Blind, Worli, Mumbai, India where she works with specialised skill-sets with visually challenged children.

She uses a holistic approach in her practice and treats ‘not the condition but the child’. Being also a qualified as an Arts based Therapy Practitioner, she uses arts-based approaches combined in her practice which contributes a unique combination. Seeing her patients achieve optimum functional level and a smile on the face of the caregivers is what drives her daily routine.
